Material: This piece is made digitally- I came to the conclusion that this was the best medium to use because it provided me with more tools to experiment with this style.
Idea: In this piece I wanted to show the human alignment with nature, and how we are birthed from this world, never meant to wean off of it.
Process: This piece is only about halfway done. I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone, something I wouldn't usually do. I started by experimenting with the human figure, and the shape within that figure. I wanted everything to kind of slash around on the canvas and yet fit uniformly like a puzzle. I want this bizarre style to encapsulate the wildness of nature that still fits together so uniformly within a single world. I will continue to work on this piece next semester.
